I'm going to sound quite pathetic but I look forward to the Met Costume Gala every year. It's one of the only events where celebrities and designers do not feel the need to hold back when it comes to their red carpet look. Here are some of my favourites from the event!
Scarlett Johansson in Dolce & Gabbana - suits her body shape so well
Florence Welch in Alexander McQueen - over the top but it wouldn't be a costume gala without McQ
Alicia Keyes and Swizz Beatz - they actually don't look too matchy-matchy
Kirsten Dunst in Rodarte - some people thought she looked like a pumpkin or Santa Claus but I thought the suit was very flattering on her
Anna Wintour in Prada (who also hosted this year) and Bee Shaffer in Erdem - an obvious choice, as they both looked stunning but I wish Anna had worn a faux fur cape instead
Cate Blanchett in a black feathered McQ gown
Carine Roitfeld in Givenchy - always love the suited up look
